Our global delegation will be in Geneva, Switzerland from December 5-8, 2022 for the historic first session of the PFPAD. And we are learning more every day about the challenges, opportunities, strategies and solutions devised by other directly impacted people of African ancestry from all corners of the world. Many similarities in our common struggle to be treated as human beings. The trauma and generational harm is a fact that merits great attention.
This Side Event brings esteemed scholar-practitioners, Baba Dr. Wade Ifágbemì Sàngódáre Nobles Co-Founder and Past President (1994-1995), The Association of Black Psychologists, with the antidote to Western Psychology which has a negative intellectual default versus affirming the African being. Siphiwe Baleka, Founder, Balanta B’urassa History and Genealogy Society in America, and Member, NCOBRA Health Commission presents N’COBRA’s Harm Report on physical legacy of structural racism on African descendants, and Enola G Aird brings an overview of the growing global grassroots movement for freedom from the centuries-old lie of White superiority and Black inferiority: the root cause of the dehumanization of African people and the underdevelopment of Black communities around the world.
