Global-Africa People-to-People Forum

Save the date! #ECOSOCC, in collaboration with the Caribbean Pan African Network (CPAN) and the Emancipation Support Committee of Trinidad and Tobago (ESCTT), is pleased to invite you to the 2024 Global-Africa People-to-People Forum, themed, “Looking Beyond 20 Years of Strategic Engagement and Pan-African Solidarity.” This virtual event is scheduled to take place on September 12, 2024.

The Forum, part of the Pan-African Festival of Trinidad and Tobago, marks the 20th Anniversary of both ECOSOCC and CPAN. Now in its fourth year, the Forum continues to be a platform for meaningful dialogue on progressive Pan-African initiatives and issues affecting the African continent and its diaspora.

This year’s theme reflects the Forum’s commitment to strengthening ties between African citizens and the diaspora, celebrating two decades of strategic collaboration. As we celebrate this milestone, the Forum will delve into themes such as empowering Africa and the Diaspora as zones of peace, promoting stability in Haiti and Sudan, and confronting the issue of black-on-black crime.
