    Honorable Archie Donmo is the Director General for the Liberia Petroleum Regulatory Authority (LPRA). He graduated with a BSc in Economics from the University of Liberia and possesses several certifications in credit management., debt profiling, debt stock analysis, public debt management, institutional management & growth and contracts negotiation. Honorable Donmo brings a wealth of experience in contract review and development, resources mobilization, external negotiation, personnel development and institutional strengthening to his position at the LPRA.
    Honorable Archie Donmo has held various high-level, executive positions throughout his career as Head of Operations Control at Ecobank Liberia and Assistant Minister for EXTERNAL Resources at the Ministry of Finance and Development Planning, to name a couple.

    In 1984 he joined Eni’s geophysics division, working first as a researcher in the development of 3D seismic prospecting technology and subsequently as a manager of 3D seismic prospecting programmes, specialising in seismic-stratigraphy. In 1994 he was appointed manager of seismic-stratigraphy applications and in 1999 he increased the technical-managerial scope of his activities becoming manager of geological and geophysical services in Eni.

    At the end of 2001, his career took a new international turn holding positions of increasing managerial complexity over a period of eight years, starting in Norway where he was Technical Director and Deputy Managing Director at Norsk Agip in Norway. In 2003 he was appointed Managing Director of Eni Indonesia and in 2006 he moved to Egypt as General Manager and Managing Director, a position he also held at Eni Angola in 2007. In 2009 he returned to Eni’s headquarters as Senior Vice Chairman of Global Exploration. He was appointed Executive Vice President of Exploration and Unconventional at the beginning of 2010.

    He has been Chief Exploration Officer in Eni since 1 July 2014.

    He was appointed Deputy of Chief Operating Officer Natural Resources and also Director Exploration of Eni on July 1, 2020.

    Dr. Gloria Sibusisiwe Magombo, MSc Mech.Eng., MBA., PhD (Hon.) Pr. Eng., FZIE – Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Energy and Power Development in Zimbabwe. Dr. Magombo has more than 30 years of experience in the Energy Sector spanning the fields of engineering, management, power sector reform and regulation. Her key areas of experience and expertise include strategy development and implementation, general management, project management, power plant operations and maintenance, plant optimisation and testing, generation planning, feasibility studies, energy sector regulation and training of technical staff and general management. Before joining MoEPD, Dr. Magombo served as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Zimbabwe Energy Regulatory Authority (ZERA). She also worked as the Managing Director of an international consultancy firm, Norconsult Botswana. She also worked as Regional Energy Advisor with Southern Africa Global Competitiveness Hub. She is a former Executive Commissioner of Zimbabwe Electricity Regulatory Commission (ZERC) and she also worked as a Generation Expert for Zimbabwe Electricity Supply Authority (ZESA).

    She served as the Regional Chairperson of Capacity Building Portfolio for the Regional Electricity Regulators Association (RERA) and Chairperson for RERA an association with a consultative status within the SADC Energy Sector at Africa level. Dr. Magombo served as the Deputy Chairperson of the Energy Portfolio Committee for the African Forum for Utility Regulators (AFUR). AFUR has a consultative status as well at the African Union. Dr. Magombo served as a Councillor of the Engineering Council of Zimbabwe (ECZ) and former Vice Chairperson of the Harare Institute of Technology (HIT) Board. Dr. Magombo is representing Zimbabwe as the Deputy Chairperson of the International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA). She is also a Co-Board Chairperson of Zambezi River Authority.

    Andrew Mercer is Deputy Minister for Energy and Member of Parliament representing the Sekondi Constituency in the Western Region of Ghana. He also serves on the Ministerial Advisory Board of the Ministry of Energy (Republic of Ghana). Andrew Mercer is a lawyer by training with extensive corporate, commercial and finance sector practice experience. Prior to his appointment as Deputy Minister, he served as a director on the board of Ghana National Gas Company.
